Our Story

In February of 2019 Christine began working as an intake therapist at a nonprofit mental health center where Joey had been working as a graphic designer since 2012. A couple of months later after a work-related gala, Joey went home, noticed Christine’s picture on Instagram when browsing through the event hashtags, and made the obvious move: sliding into the DMs. Although they worked at different sites, they happened to be at the same location the very next morning because of a training. Joey messaged Christine to come meet him in his office upstairs. He had one extra movie ticket for the opening night of Avengers: Endgame later that evening and invited her. Even though Christine admitted that she didn’t watch Marvel movies, she agreed to come anyway…

Christine and Joey enjoy going to Disneyland, shopping at thrift stores and antique shops, relaxing in Palm Springs, going to tiki bars, and they have an unhealthy obsession with Baby Yoda. Here’s to a lifetime full of more blessings and adventures!
